Do I need an email address or phone number?
No. The app creates a secret key on your phone. You back it up, and it's your account.
Can SovTalk read my messages?
No. Messages, photos, videos and calls are encrypted on your phone. Our server sees only the recipient's public ID, the message size and an approximate time.
Are my posts private?
No. Posts are public, like your name and profile picture. Your feed shows only friends, but anyone with your public ID can read your posts. Keep private things for messages.
